Established in 2021, Overextended began as a collaborative effort to develop high-quality, secure, free, and open-source resources for FiveM. While the project was officially discontinued in 2025, several community members continued maintaining key resources such as oxmysql, ox_lib, ox_inventory, and ox_core to ensure their stability and usability.
Development resumed in 2026 with a renewed focus on collaboration with the community. This shift is intended to provide ongoing support and deliver critical security updates in a timely manner.
