I’m Mila Page (she/her) a software engineer on the Fusion team at dbt Labs. I develop for the dbt framework and dbt Fusion. My work extends across the Fusion adapter layer, drivers, platform SDKs, and features like catalogs.yml that the data world depends on.
👀 I love byte-sized problems. In my day to day, I enjoy solving application-software problems with the perspective of a former stakeholder!

☄️ I'm moving deeper into systems development and compilers. This year, I'm:
- Drilling Rust and its compiler, from the stdlib down to the LLVM handles.
- Vibe Coding a personal Terminal App / Database Service called
LearningComputerto explore LLMs and product development. - Apache Iceberg, everywhere Iceberg. dbt Core, dbt Fusion, all sorts of product development.
- Reading Lexi Lambda's lovely blog and looking for all the others I can
- Absorbing the Arrow Spec, ADBC, and more as fast as I can.
- Bootcamping through GoF and Gregg. I really should find time for SIMD and LLVM asap (but this list is too large as it is).
