Description

Pilot Protocol is an overlay network stack for AI agents. It gives agents permanent virtual addresses, authenticated encrypted channels (X25519 + AES-256-GCM), and a mutual trust model — all layered on top of standard UDP.

What it installs

Binary Description
pilot-daemon Background daemon — tunnel encryption, NAT traversal, packet routing
pilotctl CLI for managing the daemon, trust, connections, and data exchange
pilot-gateway Maps pilot addresses to local IPs for HTTP/TCP bridging
pilot-updater Auto-update sidecar that checks GitHub Releases

Includes brew services support for running the daemon in the background.

Builds from source with go build — no CGO, no external dependencies.
