Double prediction showing up while only one visible on explorer

I made a few predictions in this market
Will ETH to USD value go up or down at May 24 2021 8:30 pm?

I first made a bullish prediction and then tried to make a neutral prediction. I confirmed the prediction and went on another page. When I came back, the prediction amount was deducted from my wallet but the prediction wasn't showing up in the table or the round history page or the open prediction table.

I checked the balance in my wallet on the explorer and it was the same and no deduction was showing there. So I made the prediction again. But as soon as I did that, the previous prediction also appeared in all the places I checked before along with the second prediction.

I checked the explorer again and saw that only one deduction happened from my wallet. But in the app, I see two predictions in that option. This has happened before too

• The Maticvigil node has somehow missed one Txn for this user and so he couldn't see it in the explorer.
• There are also possibilities of lags in our system and so the user may not have seen his Txn in our app immediately.
• The above url has a different explorer where you can confirm 2 Txn from the user

In that case, the issue becomes - the app didn't show the correct data at the right time
Can we detect such situations and let the user know via a notification msg or pop up that their prediction might have gone through but might not be visible on the app and that they should wait before putting in another prediction?
